Annual Athena Award

Supporting, developing, and honoring women leaders.

The ATHENA Leadership Awards recognize outstanding individuals and organizations for excellence in leadership, professional success, and community service, with a focus on empowering women. These awards honor those who embody ATHENA's "Eight Principles of Enlightened Leadership™" and support women’s leadership development. Since 1982, over 8,200 recipients across 11 countries have been celebrated. Categories include awards for youth, emerging leaders, allies, and organizations fostering inclusive leadership.

The Leavenworth-Lansing Area Women's Division has been a part of the Athena Awards since 1986.
